The outdoor exhibition on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the beginning of regular meteorological measurements at the Klementinum station in Prague offers a fascinating insight into the history of meteorology in Bohemia and around the world. Featured are important personalities who stood at the beginnings of the measurements, the development of meteorological instruments, stories of the first organized networks, phenomena and elements that were and still have been measured as well as anomalous climate events. Special attention is paid to the famous uninterrupted temperature series that is one of the oldest in the world. The display also presents the current state of meteorological technology and the work of the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute.
