The book chronicles the life of the Russian poet Marina Tsvetaeva (1892–1941) during one of the most fruitful periods of her life, which she spent in exile in interwar Czechoslovakia. Based on diaries, letters, newspaper articles and archival materials, the book traces the daily life of the poet and her family between August 1922 and December 1925. It provides an insight into the Russian émigré community in Prague and the surrounding area, as well as the poet’s relations with the Czechoslovak public in the 1920s. It also includes a list of all the places where Tsvetaeva stayed and the poems she wrote during this period. The book is published in Russian. This is the second, revised and expanded edition of the book.
