Ukrainian Studio of Visual Arts in Prague
November 13 - December 5
The exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Studio´s establishment is organized by the Slavonic Library affiliated to the National Library of the Czech Republic and by the Ukrainian Initiative in the Czech Republic in cooperation with the Monument of National Literature, the National Museum in Prague, the NationaL Gallery in Prague, and the State Central Archive.
The exhibition will take place within the framework of the international conference "Ukrainian Visual Art in Czechoslovakia Between the World Wars (12th -14th November 2003).

Wyclif and Bohemia
Distant and Close Perspective

November 7 - 30
One of the largest collections of manuscripts of the Wyclif´s works has been preserved in the Department of Manuscripts and Early Printed Books of the National Library of the Czech Republic. The exhibition is divided into several parts, which concern both theological thinking and its social and cultural resonance. The exhibition presents the period of the end of the 14th and the 15th centuries, which was very dramatic, and wyclifism played an important role in its revolutionary development.
It is held by the National Library of the Czech Republic.
